Clinical Supervision
Throughout my career, I have performed a supervisory role for other members of the teams I have worked in. As practice lead for the perpetrator programme, I provided both 121 and group supervision of frontline staff delivering this challenging and difficult service.
Subsequent to this I went on to train in clinical supervision for counsellors and psychotherapists. I continue to deliver this to experienced and qualified practitioners in private practice, and other relevant organisations such as the NHS.
Supervision provides a safe, reflective space to offload, seek advice and share the realities of your practice. It allows you to examine client dynamics while exploring your own responses, thoughts, and presence as a therapist within the work. I create a collaborative and supportive space where you can safely do all the above. I will adapt our sessions to match your current experience level, goals and unique needs.
Together, we will explore client dynamics, ethical considerations and your personal growth as a practitioner to ensure you feel confident, competent and fully supported in your practice.
In addition to traditional counselling settings, I offer specialised clinical supervision for professionals in the wider workplace, including those in healthcare, social care, housing and education. This tailored space focuses on managing workplace stress, navigating complex team dynamics and preventing burnout, helping you maintain high-quality care and resilience in your role.
"Supervision with Donna has provided me with a safe space to explore my clinical practice and gain much needed confidence. She understands my needs and way of working and fully facilitates it. I feel fully supported with anthing I bring to the sessions. This, in turn has made my practice more effective for both me and my clients."
